Standards and Content
The standards were developed by the state and adapted by KPBSD. There are 6 modules (or units of study) to the course: Mental & Emotional Health, Social & Consumer Health, Nutrition, Preventing Disease, Human Sexuality, & Drugs, Alcohol & Tobacco. There are 4 types of activities: Lessons, Tasks, Discussions, and Competencies.

There is a spectrum approaches to integrating this online course and the resources that are incorporated into it. Terms like online textbook and digital parallel come into play here.
