Goals • Receive general information on a topic • Use our own teacher experts to facilitate learning new information about the topic • Collaborate with one another • Gather remaining questions about the topic to be addressed and answered Format• Present: Information about the topic can be video, handout, lecture, technology, etc. Provide background knowledge. (10-15 minutes) • Share out: Allow teachers to have open, judgment-free conversations concerning the topic. We are an untapped resource of information. Important points should be documented on giant Post-it notes. (20 minutes) • Wrap-up: Document any  questions or concerns that the group feels they would like to have addressed and answered on giant Post-it notes. (10 minutes) Program DescriptionWhat is a digital parallel? It is the use of online tools to provide ourselves, students, and parents continual access to the content of our courses, the materials they need, and the feedback we provide for them on their learning journey. It is quite literally the digital parallel to what is occurring in the classroom. Building a digital parallel for our work is such a benefit to educational practice, that we can not overlook the opportunity to build our online presence.
